3-tips-how-to-look-and-feel-healthier

Everyone has goals in life they want to achieve, one of them is how they look and feel. I want to lose an extra 20 lbs. and get back to what I looked like back when I was in college. If you follow these 3 healthy tips you will start seeing the results you’ve been looking for.

Three Tips How To Look and Feel Healthier!

  1. Drink water, seriously drink lots and lots of it. Though, it honestly depends on your weight and height, but its been rule of thumb to drink at least half a gallon day or 2 liters. We are constantly losing water throughout the day, primarily through sweating and urination. Well of course we need water thats given you may say, but some people don’t get enough of which can cause lots of health issues if your slacking on the water. Every morning I like to get a glass of water and squeeze half a lemon (not the juice in the oddly shaped yellow container) which provides many benefits such as an energy boost. Lemons are antioxidants full of folate, calcium and potassium. Limonene is a compound founds in lemons that have shown anticancer properties what were found in laboratory animals. If lemons aren’t your thing you can add different fruits to your water and let them diffuse into the water, fruit flavored water sounds better than those sugary soda pops. At TFW we offer a well balanced nutrition program that will make you lose/gain the weight you always wanted. Stefana Saxton is our nutrition specialist who will get you on the right track!
  2. Be active everyday in some form. Go for a run, lift weights, swimming, yoga, basketball, virtually anything. You have a business meetings between you and various coworkers? No problem, go for walk and have your business meeting. Steve Jobs constantly had walking meetings, exercising and working at the same time, who would’ve thought thats possible? No one should have an excuse, “oh I just don’t have time to workout”. I call that the biggest excuse. It’s all about priorities, no one is making watching 3 hour long episodes of Game of Thrones. Use your time wisely and think about your health. Here at TFW we have classes Monday through Saturday from the wee morning hours to the late at night warriors. One should always find time to workout.
  3. Watch what you eat. You just pulled up to McDonalds and you are beyond starving, you’re thinking 3 double cheese burgers with a side of fries and a soda. Let me ask you this, what have you done earn this meal? Did you just get back from a killer workout? Maybe re-think the order and get something like a chicken sandwich, just as good and more nutritious. Here is a rule I follow, if there is more FAT in it than protein… Typically I stay away from that. For example the pollo platter from Jose Peppers has a whopping 83 grams of fat and 79 grams of protein.
