I personally workout 3-5 times a week, but when I’m not working out I’m sitting in my office chair working on computer. Every day is different and some days I have to work longer than others. When I sit too for long I can get fidgety, stiff and at times forget about my posture. Luckily, there are ways to burn some calories while you’re at work stuck in a chair.
Work Those Abs
Sitting down and working out your abs at the same time? Is that even a thing? Yes, yes it is. Tighten your core muscles as hard as you can. Hold this for about 10 seconds, release and do this for 10 more reps. After the 10th rep you should feel a nice burn.
Get Your Legs Strong
So there are a few leg different exercises you sitting in the office chair. Sit up straight and straighten your legs out until they are parallel to the ground. Flex your thigh muscles and hold this isometric for about 10 seconds and slowly lower your legs back down. Do this for also for 10 repetitions.

“Laughing is the best medicine,” seriously laughing has so many benefits to your overall health. Laughing can reduce stress hormones, lower feelings of depression and increase human growth hormones (it protects us against disease and infections). According to scientists, laughing as much as 15 minutes a day can burn up to 40 calories. What’s stopping you from enjoying life and having a good laugh?
Drink More Water
The golden rule I hear quite a bit is everyone needs to drink 8 cups of 8 ounces of water a day. Obviously water has tremendous benefits, thats a no brainer. Put it this way, the more water you drink the more often you’ll have to use the bathrooms. Requiring you to get up and walk around, thus burning some calories! Plus, it gives you a mental break.
Drinking tea has numerous benefits, one of them is burning fat. There are many teas out there, but try drinking oolong tea. It is energy boosting and fat burning properties. Drinking too much coffee can slow your metabolism and can keep you up at night if you consumed too much.
